I think many of you already know of the command, holster. But in case some of you don't know how to holster your weapon, here's how: - Open console by pressing the ~ (tilde) key left of your 1 key.
- Think of a keyboard key or F (function key) to use for quick access. The V or B keys are handy. I'll use the V key in the following instruction.
- Bind the V key to the holster command in console like this: bind v "holster" then hit the enter key to accept the command.
Now during game play you can press your V key to holster you weapon and again to unholster it. This comes in handy when you want to move a little faster among other uses. Quiet rechambering can be accomplished by bashing after you fire your rifle. This is a feature added from the 1.2 patch. You use to not be able to bash when you chambered a bullet in your rifle. Now you can! PLUS an added benefit I found was that after you shoot and bash, you reload your chamber quietly!! Here's how:Quickly click the right mouse button or whatever you use to "bash" with AFTER you shoot. This will quietly chamber another bullet to your rifle. It works great when sniping especially with the AXIS sniping rifle since it's pretty loud. You won't be noticed as much, if any, when you rechamber your rifle. Enjoy and I hope these tips help your MOHPA gaming experience.
